ORDER PROCESSING
For handmade items, please allow 3–6 business days for your order to be processed before it ships.
Each Kindle insert and laminated bookmark is prepared with care, so I appreciate your patience while I get your pretty little reading upgrades ready for their journey to you.
NEED TO CANCEL? ACT FAST!
I start preparing orders pretty quickly so I can get them out to you as soon as possible. Because of that, I may not be able to make changes once an order has been placed.
If you need to cancel your order, please email me immediately at hello@shoptropesandtrinkets.com with your name and order number.
I’ll do my best to help, but I’m unable to cancel an order once it has been packed, shipped, or marked as fulfilled. At that point, it’s already off on its adventure to you.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
I want you to love your order. Since Kindle inserts and laminated bookmarks are paper-based items, I do accept returns on eligible items.
To start a return, please email me within 14 days of delivery at hello@shoptropesandtrinkets.com with your name, order number, and the item you’d like to return.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:

Unused
-
Unbent
-
Unmarked
-
Free of damage
-
In their original condition
Because these items are paper-based, I’m unable to accept returns on items that have been bent, creased, stained, written on, heavily handled, or damaged after delivery.
Once your return is approved, the item must be mailed back before a refund can be issued. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to an error on my end, such as receiving the wrong item.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
EXCHANGES
Need a different Kindle insert size or changed your mind about a design? No worries.
Exchanges may be accepted as long as the item is unused and in original condition. Please email me within 14 days of delivery at hello@shoptropesandtrinkets.com with your name, order number, and what you’d like to exchange.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the exchange is needed because I sent the wrong item.
WHAT IF MY ITEM ARRIVES DAMAGED?
Oh no — I’m so sorry if your order had a rough little journey.
I carefully package every order, but paper goods can be delicate once they’re in the hands of the shipping carrier.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or if I accidentally sent the wrong item, please email me within 14 days of delivery at hello@shoptropesandtrinkets.com with:

Your order number

A clear photo of the damaged or incorrect item

A photo of the packaging, if possible
Please hang on to the original packaging and the item while we sort things out. It helps me understand what happened and make it right.
If the package itself was damaged in transit, you may also need to contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.
REFUNDS
Once your returned item is received and inspected, I’ll let you know whether the refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.

Please double-check your Kindle model/size before ordering an insert. If you accidentally order the wrong size, I’m happy to help with a return or exchange as long as the item is unused and in original condition.
