These Terms of Service explain the rules, expectations, and tiny bits of serious stuff that come with using this website and placing an order. By visiting this site or purchasing from Tropes & Trinkets, you agree to these terms.

Please read them before placing an order so we’re all on the same page and nobody has to enter their villain era over a bookmark.

SHOPPING WITH TROPES & TRINKETS

Tropes & Trinkets offers reader accessories, including Kindle inserts, laminated bookmarks, and other bookish or mood-reader goods that may be added in future drops.

Many items are handmade, prepared in small batches, or made in limited quantities. Because of that, product availability may change, items may sell out, and restocks are not always guaranteed.

I do my best to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible. However, colors may look slightly different depending on your screen, device settings, lighting, or the general emotional behavior of the internet that day.

HANDMADE & SMALL-BATCH ITEMS

Each item is prepared with care, but handmade and small-batch items may have slight variations. This can include tiny differences in placement, trimming, lamination, color, or finish.

These small differences are part of the handmade process and do not automatically mean an item is defective.

That said, I still want you to receive something you’re happy with. If something arrives damaged, incorrect, or truly not right, please reach out so I can take a look and help make it right.

KINDLE INSERT COMPATIBILITY

Kindle inserts are designed to fit specific Kindle models and sizes. Please double-check your Kindle model before placing your order.

It is the customer’s responsibility to choose the correct Kindle insert size. If you accidentally order the wrong size, please refer to the Return & Exchange Policy to see what options may be available.

Kindle is a trademark of Amazon. Tropes & Trinkets is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Amazon.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Products may be available in limited quantities. I reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue items, update designs, change pricing, or remove products from the shop at any time.

I also reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if there is an issue with inventory, pricing, suspected fraud, payment processing, or any other concern that prevents me from safely or accurately completing the order.

If your order needs to be canceled on my end, you will be notified and refunded.

PRICING & PAYMENT

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices are subject to change without notice. The price shown at checkout at the time of your purchase is the price you agree to pay.

Payment is due at checkout. Orders will not be processed or shipped until payment has been successfully completed.

ORDER PROCESSING

For handmade items, please allow 3–6 business days for your order to be processed before it ships.

Processing time is the time it takes me to prepare, pack, and get your order ready to leave my hands. It does not include the time the carrier takes to deliver the package.

During holidays, sales, launches, restocks, or busy seasons, processing may take a little longer. If there is a major delay on my end, I’ll do my best to keep you updated.

CANCELLATIONS & ORDER CHANGES

I start preparing orders fairly quickly so I can get them out as soon as possible.

If you need to cancel an order or correct a shipping address, please email me immediately at hello@shoptropesandtrinkets.com with your name and order number.

I’ll do my best to help, but changes and cancellations are not guaranteed.

Once an order has been packed, shipped, or marked as fulfilled, I can’t cancel it, change the address, or make edits to the order.

SHIPPING

Shipping times and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.

Once your order is handed over to the shipping carrier, I no longer have control over delays, lost packages, misdelivered mail, weather issues, carrier scans, or delivery timing.

Please review the Shipping Policy for full details about tracking, incorrect addresses, returned packages, and lost mail.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & DAMAGED ITEMS

I want you to love your order.

Because Tropes & Trinkets currently offers paper-based items like Kindle inserts and laminated bookmarks, returns and exchanges may be accepted on eligible items.

Items must be unused, unbent, unmarked, undamaged, and in their original condition.

Please review the Return Policy for full details about returns, exchanges, damaged items, incorrect items, and refund eligibility.

CUSTOMER INFORMATION

When you place an order, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information, including your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information.

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. I’m responsible for shipping your order to the address provided at checkout.

If an address is incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable, the customer may be responsible for reshipping costs.

PRIVACY

Your privacy matters.

Any personal information you provide through this website is used to process your order, communicate with you, fulfill purchases, and operate the shop.

EMAILS & COMMUNICATION

By placing an order, you agree to receive order-related emails, including confirmation emails, shipping updates, tracking information, and customer service replies.

If you sign up for the email list, you may also receive marketing emails, launch updates, product news, and other Tropes & Trinkets notes.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Order-related emails are separate and may still be sent when needed to complete or support your purchase.

SHOP CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, product photos, product descriptions, graphics, branding, designs, copy, and other materials belong to Tropes & Trinkets unless otherwise stated.

Please do not copy, reproduce, resell, steal, screenshot for your own shop, trace, duplicate, or use my content or designs without permission.

Basically: inspiration is cute. Theft is not.

PERSONAL USE ONLY

Tropes & Trinkets products are intended for personal use only.

You may not purchase items from this shop for the purpose of copying, reproducing, reselling, or claiming them as your own work.

If you’re interested in a collaboration, wholesale opportunity, or special order, please reach out first.

PROHIBITED USES

Please don’t use this website for anything sketchy, illegal, harmful, or wildly unnecessary.

You agree not to:

• Use the site for fraudulent purposes

• Interfere with the website’s security or functionality

• Copy or steal shop content, photos, or designs

• Submit false information

• Attempt to access private areas of the website

• Use the site in a way that violates laws or regulations

• Harass, threaten, or abuse the shop owner or other customers

I do my best to keep the website accurate and up to date, but mistakes can happen.

There may occasionally be errors related to product descriptions, pricing, availability, shipping information, discount codes, or other details.

I reserve the right to correct errors, update information, cancel orders, or make changes at any time if something is inaccurate.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Tropes & Trinkets is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or unexpected damages related to the use of this website or products purchased from the shop.

That includes, but is not limited to, website interruptions, carrier delays, lost mail, device issues, customer misuse, or any damage caused by using an item in a way it was not intended to be used.
