A QUICK NOTE ON SHIPPING TIMES
I’m so excited you found something you love.
Each order is packed with care, and handmade items are shipped within my standard processing time of 3–6 business days.
Once your order is handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery times are estimates. Think of them as a really good guess, not a pinky promise. During holidays, sales, weather delays, or busy shipping seasons, packages may take a little longer to arrive.
If there’s ever a major delay on my end, I’ll send you an email so you’re not left wondering where your pretty reading things are.
ORDER CONFIRMATION & TRACKING
Once your order is placed, you should receive an order confirmation email. That’s your official receipt, so please hang on to your order number just in case.
As soon as your order ships, you’ll receive another email with tracking information.
A tiny heads up: tracking numbers can be a little sleepy at first and may take up to 24 hours to show updates.
If your confirmation or tracking email decides to play hide-and-seek, please check your spam or promotions folder first. Still no luck? You can email me at hello@shoptropesandtrinkets.com.
DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. I want your package to make it to the right home, not go on an unplanned side quest.
I’m responsible for shipping your order to the address provided at checkout.
Realized there’s a typo? Email me as soon as possible at hello@shoptropesandtrinkets.com with your name and order number.
If your order has not shipped yet, I’ll do my best to update the address.
Once an order has been marked as shipped, I’m unable to change the shipping address, redirect the package, or make updates through the carrier.
If my system flags your address as incomplete or undeliverable, I’ll contact you by email. I’ll need a corrected address within 5 business days. If I don’t hear back, your order may be canceled and refunded.
PACKAGE RETURNED TO SENDER? LET’S FIX IT.
Sometimes packages find their way back to me. Annoying? Yes. Fixable? Usually.
If your tracking says your package is being returned to sender, please email me at hello@shoptropesandtrinkets.com with your name and order number.
Once the package is safely back in my hands, you can choose one of the following options:
Reship my order, please.
I can resend your order to the correct address. The customer is responsible for the cost of reshipping.
I’ll take a refund.
No problem. I’ll refund the cost of the returned item(s) to your original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Please note that if a package is returned because of an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address, I’m unable to refund the original shipping cost.
WHAT IF MY PACKAGE GETS LOST?
I pack every order with care and send it on its way with tracking.
Once a package is handed over to the shipping carrier, I don’t have control over its journey. If your package seems delayed or stuck in transit, please check the tracking first and contact your local post office or shipping carrier for help locating it.
They have the best tools to investigate delays, locate packages, and start a missing mail search.
If your tracking has not updated for several days or something seems off, you can also email me at hello@shoptropesandtrinkets.com with your name and order number, and I’ll do my best to help point you in the right direction.
MARKED DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED?
If your package is marked as delivered but you don’t see it, please check around your mailbox, front door, package area, leasing office, mail room, or with neighbors first.
Sometimes packages are marked delivered a little early or placed somewhere unexpected.
If it still doesn’t turn up, please contact the shipping carrier directly so they can investigate the delivery location.
